Lauren Ash

  Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born on the 4th of February, 1983, is an Canadian comedian and actress based in Los Angeles. She was originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known among television viewers for her role in Superstore as Dina Fox. Ash is also an alumna at Second City Toronto Mainstage as and Second City Chicago mainstage. In addition, she is half the sketch comedy duo "Cory!" She has been an Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Female Improviser twice in 2006 and 2007. In 2012, she took home the Best Performance by a Female on Television Almost Heroes award. In 2015, she took home the award for Best Female Performance in a Feature Film due to her performance in Dirty Singles. She was also a guest on the Prank-show "Scare Tactics". From 2020 onwards, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" together with her cousin Christy Oxborrow.
